Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Thrive Fitness Hub ("we", "us", "our"), Johnstown, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are (data controller)

Thrive Fitness Hub, Johnstown, Navan, Co. Meath.
Email: thrivefitnesshub1@gmail.com · Phone: 085 728 0590

2. What data we collect

Through this website: we do not collect personal data directly. This site has no accounts, forms or trackers of our own. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) may be processed by our hosting provider to serve the site securely.

Through our booking system: when you book a class, membership or appointment, you do so via LegitFit, our booking provider. LegitFit collects the details you provide (name, contact details, payment information, booking history). LegitFit processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at legitfit.com/privacy.

Offline: if you attend our facility, we may collect information you give us directly — for example health information relevant to safe training or sports therapy treatment (a PAR-Q or intake form). Health data is treated as special category data, is collected only with your explicit consent, and is used solely to deliver safe, appropriate services.

3. Why we use your data (legal bases)

  • To provide bookings, memberships and services — performance of a contract
  • To ensure safe training and treatment — your explicit consent (health data)
  • To respond to enquiries by email or phone — legitimate interest
  • To meet legal obligations (e.g. accident records, tax) — legal obligation

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share data with

Only with service providers needed to run the business: LegitFit (bookings and payments) and our email provider. We do not share your data with advertisers or other third parties. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, they must offer GDPR-equivalent safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Booking and membership records are retained while you are a member and for as long as required afterwards for legal and accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Health intake forms are retained only as long as needed to deliver services safely, then securely destroyed.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email thrivefitnesshub1@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) — dataprotection.ie.

7. Third-party links

This site links to and embeds content from LegitFit, Instagram and Facebook. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you interact with them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date above.
